For anyone that is looking to volunteer at our bi-weekly events, please use the link below to submit a request:
United Saving Animals rescue is completely volunteer-run. We are always in need of local community members dedicated to animals wanting to assist in our mission. If you are someone looking to document a few volunteer hours or you simply just want to join our pack, please take a look below!
We have our adoption events held at PetSmart every other weekend. The hours are 11 am to 4 pm each event. However, volunteers come in around 10:15 am to help setup the event. You do not have to stay the entire time (though we definitely appreciate if you can).
Assistance needed during adoption events:
- Taking dogs on a leash outside to potty
- Watering dog bowls to ensure hydration
- Cleaning up potty accidents as they sometimes occur
- Changing out blankets/pillows in kennels
- Walking with new adoptive families to help them shop for their necessities
- Speaking with everyone stopping by our event
- Setting up/taking down kennels, signs, supplies, etc.
Assistance needed outside of adoption events:
- Transportation of animals to/from locations
- Helping distribute supplies to foster homes as needed
- Fundraising efforts
Do you have other skill sets, hobbies or knowledge and experience that is
not listed here you think might be useful?
We can always use technical assistance, graphic designing assistance, networking assistance, fundraising assistance and even arts and crafts assistance! Anything you think may benefit our rescued animals we want to welcome you into our pack!
