- Dog adoption fee starts at $200
- Cat adoption fee starts at $55
What these fees cover:
- Up-to-date on vaccines
- Spayed/Neutered
- Any additional medical care needed
To adopt an animal from USA Rescue, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a current U.S. government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license or state ID
- Verify that you are allowed to have a pet of the breed and size where you currently live
- Be able to spend the time and resources necessary to provide the training, medical treatment and proper care for your pet
- Be available to do a home inspection at the fosters discretion for specific foster animals
- A home inspection is not necessary for every adoption. USA Rescue team members have the authority to request a home inspection for specific foster animals based on their needs. This is not to discriminate from one adopter to another, but rather to ensure that the very specific needs of the animal (based on breed, size, history, medical issues, etc). are maintained. We do this to ensure the safety and well-being of the animal.
How to apply for adoption:
- We ask that any potential adopters contact us via email so we can connect and provide a link to the application
- You can also stop by one of our adoption events every other Saturday
- We are not always able to bring every animal available for adoption to our events. If there is an animal listed on our website you are interested in and are currently at one of our in-person events, please go to our information table and a member of our admin team will be happy to answer your questions.
